Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a large volume of tax resolution cases.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates and documentation needs.
- Contact the IRS and State Tax Agencies to verify account information and compliance status.
- Request and review IRS transcripts, wage & income transcripts, and account records.
- Prepare and update IRS and State Power of Attorneys.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with Attorneys, Enrolled Agents, CPAs, and tax preparers toward case resolution.
- Analyze client financial situations and escalate complex matters when necessary.
- Respond to IRS and State notices to help protect client accounts.
- Maintain detailed case notes and organize client files accurately.
- Scan, upload, and manage documentation within company software systems.
- Provide excellent customer service both over the phone and in person.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the Tax Resolution industry REQUIRED.
- Experience handling IRS compliance calls and transcript analysis REQUIRED.
- Strong understanding of IRS procedures and tax resolution workflows.
- Ability to multitask and manage heavy caseloads efficiently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable speaking with clients throughout the day.
- Professional and customer service-oriented attitude.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CRM/database systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
